Chad Krueter

Chad Krueter:  Chad is graduate of Redwood High School after which he had a 16 year MLB career in which he played 944 games and caught a No Hitter from Nolan Ryan.  He also coached USC from 2007-2010 and managed in the Minor Leagues for the Colorado Rockies and is currently managing for the New York Mets minor league team in Florida.

Max Venable

Max is a former outfielder and designated hitter who played in Major League baseball for 12 years.   He was a multi-sport star in high school and turned down multiple football scholarships, as well as a multi-million dollar contract to play for the NHL’s Quebec Nordiques, to sign with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Max’s oder son, Will, is a former San Rafael Bulldog, MLB outfielder and now the first base coach for the Chicago Cubs.

Buddy Biancalana

After 4 years at Redwood High School Buddy was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the first round of the MLB draft.   Over his career he played for both the Kansas City Royals and the Houston Astros.   Buddy was the starting shortstop for the 1985 World Champion Royals.  He is also the co-author of “The 7 Secrets of the World Class Athlete”.

Mike Firenzi

Mike Firenzi is a native of San Francisco & Corte Madera, . He’s been around baseball his entire life and has been coaching high school baseball for over 20 years. A graduate of Redwood, Mike began his coaching career as the Frosh/Soph coach at Redwood in 1987.  He went on to head the baseball program at Marin Catholic, where he led the Wildcats to numerous MCAL and NCS Titles and Coach of the Year honors. In his first year as the Varsity Head Coach in 2015, the Giants won the MCAL Championship and the DII NCS Championship ranking #1 Northern California, #4 in California and #21 in the Nation.  As one of the elite coaches and instructors in the Bay Area Mike has had countless players come through his program to go on and play in college and professionally.

Nick Kuroczko

 Nick Kuroczko, (San Rafael, CA native),  grew up playing San Rafael Little League. After earning the “2006 MCAL Player Of The Year” award & leading Marin Catholic to multiple championships he was recruited to the University of Utah (NCAA Division-1), where he then led Utah to winning the university’s first Mountain West Conference Championship in school history (2009). After graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree Nick played 4 years professionally in Chicago (Frontier League: 2010-2011 WCT, 2012 SCH) & Texas (United League: 2013 FWC) before starting his career as a coach, instructor, & co-owner of Linedrive.
