2026 SPRING/SUMMER TRAVEL AND ACADEMY TEAMS
TRAVEL BALL TEAMS (Ages 8U-14U)
February - July*| Training | Tournaments
Our travel teams build on the Little League season, providing players with advanced development opportunities through practices, league play, and tournaments. These teams are ideal for athletes ready to push their game further in a team-focused, competitive environment while preparing for the next level.
12U Teams: A highlight of the season is the trip to Cooperstown, late July/early August-an unforgettable baseball experience for players and families.
13U/14U Teams: High school prep with a focus on both the mental and physical development needed to play at the next level and the transition to the big field. Teams compete in a weekly Doubleheader League, local tournaments, and one major travel event.
Pre-Little League ACADEMY (Ages 9U-11U)
January 31 – March 1 | 10 Sessions | Saturdays & Sundays
Get game-ready for Little League season! This 5-week program helps players fine-tune fundamentals, build confidence, and hit the field ready to play their best. The main focus will be on getting the players ready for live pitching and hitting. Each age group has both morning and afternoon sessions - attend whichever time works best for your schedule each week. Flexible, focused, and fun - the perfect way to warm up for Little League!
SPRING ACADEMY (Ages 7U-8U)
March - June
Following rave reviews this fall, the Academy program returns for the Spring!
Our Academy is designed for developing players to sharpen their skills and gain confidence in a structured, supportive environment. This program blends professional instruction and structured development to help younger athletes build confidence and sharpen their skills in a supportive, high-energy environment.
Where Development Meets Opportunity
Marin Baseball Travel Ball is more than just games and tournaments - it’s about building players from the ground up. Our mission is simple: develop talent, build confidence, and prepare athletes for the next level.
For Ages 8U-12U
We believe in supporting the whole player. Our younger teams focus on development first - complementing the Little League season while giving athletes additional opportunities to sharpen skills, gain confidence, and grow alongside their peers. Players are coached in an environment that values progress, fun, and teamwork as much as competition.
For Ages 13U-14U
The transition to high school baseball begins here. Our older teams are designed to set the foundation for success at the high school level, combining league play with competitive tournament experience. Players are challenged to elevate their game with professional coaching, a structured training environment, and the tools they need to thrive in high school baseball and beyond.
Why Marin Baseball?
There are other programs out there - but what sets us apart is our commitment to:
Player Development First - skills, mindset, and growth on and off the field.
Character & Leadership - developing not just strong athletes, but strong people.
Pathway to the Future - from Little League to high school and college baseball.
Community Connection - our program is built on relationships, teamwork, and support.
This isn’t about being the biggest. It’s about being the best environment for players who want to get better, play hard, and love the game.
Spring/Summer Tryouts - What to Expect
Our tryouts are a chance for us to get to know your player-not just how they perform, but how they approach the game. We understand that weather, nerves, and other factors can play a role in how a player looks on any given day. Please know we take these elements into account and focus on the bigger picture: solid mechanics, attitude and coachability, team chemistry, and positional balance.
Weather Considerations
With tryouts scheduled in November, conditions can be cool, damp, or unpredictable. Please have your player dress appropriately. We suggest layering with a long-sleeve undershirt rather than bulky sweatshirts, which can limit mobility and feel heavy when wet. Staying prepared helps players perform their best, and we understand that the weather is just one of many factors at play.
What to Bring
Baseball gear (glove, bat, helmet, cleats/sneakers) *catcher’s gear not required
A plain, non-team affiliated shirt and your favorite team hat
Water and a positive attitude
We’re looking for players excited to develop their game and grow within a team-centered environment.
Playing age: The playing age of your ballplayer is their age as of April 30, 2026.
Example: if your player is 10 on April 30, 2026, they are eligible to play on a 10U team.
