Why We Stay at All-Star Village (CASV)
Not all Cooperstown experiences are equal - CASV stands above the rest.

  • Turf Fields - No rain-outs, no 12-hour delays, no four-game days. You play your scheduled games unless lightning or extreme weather intervenes.

  • Immaculate Grounds - Every dorm, every field, every path is maintained to perfection.

  • Unmatched Hospitality - Staff who go above and beyond.

  • Opening Day Traditions - The CASV Commissioner can be found handing out official pins, and a guest former MLB player hosts the ceremony (last year: Cal Ripken Jr.’s brother, Billy Ripken). All teams parade along the warning track for their fans.

  • Player Swag Package - Each player receives 2 jerseys, windbreaker jacket, hat, 2 pairs of socks. (Laundry service included)

  • Hall of Fame Ticket Included - Includes the pre-tour movie and museum access. Additional tickets available at group rate.

Pin trading kicks off the week - a major highlight for players. Traditions, team dinners, and dorm room camaraderie build memories for a lifetime.

What to Expect - At a Glance

Your Cooperstown Adventure - Simplified
Itinerary Snapshot:

  • All players will need to arrive the night before “Day 1” at CASV - This will require the player to stay with their chaperone for that night.

  • Day 1: 10am Arrival, check-in (coach does), 12pm Dorm set-up(parents allowed to help move-in), Players Only BBQ, Dorms Fire Drill, 5pm Opening Ceremony with guest MLB player and Fan Spirit Contest

  • Days 2-6: Schedule to be posted 10 days prior to Day 1, Pool play (2) games/day, tournament games (single-elimination), Hall of Fame visit, team meals, Fireworks Show

  • Day 7: Championship games, closing ceremony, travel home

While players take the field, siblings create their own unforgettable memories. The All-Star Village environment is safe, welcoming, and full of opportunities for connection and fun.

Brothers and sisters form friendships, trade pins, explore the grounds, and live their own version of the Cooperstown dream - together.

Many families even design “Sibling Pins” just for them - and they’ve become a huge hit. The 2025 Sibling Pin was so loved it now hangs proudly on the Baseballism Hall of Fame Pin Wall, a true symbol of the Marin Baseball family spirit.

Because at Cooperstown, it’s not just about the players - it’s about every member of the family sharing the journey of a lifetime.

  • Family Contributions: Team fees cover lodging, uniforms, tournament entry, swag, and meals for the player.

  • Fundraising Efforts: Previous families have hosted raffles, car washes, and dine & donates to offset costs.

  • Support Available: Our Financial Aid Program is ready to help families who qualify - no player has ever been turned away due to cost.
