FALL BALL AND FALL ACADEMY
Marin Baseball’s fall programs are designed to keep the momentum going - offering young athletes meaningful development and game-time experience during the off-season.
1) FALL BALL - Travel Teams (Ages 8U-14U)
Our fall travel teams continue the momentum of spring and summer, offering players development opportunities through practices and tournaments. These teams are ideal for athletes looking to refine their skills in a team-focused, competitive setting while preparing for the next level of play.
2) FALL ACADEMY
Fall Academy (7U & 8U)
Our Fall Academy for 7U and 8U players is designed to build a strong foundation while keeping the game fun, engaging, and development-focused.
Players will train:
Sundays (outdoor)
Every other Wednesday (indoor at the Marin Baseball Clubhouse)
We know schedules are busy, so we’ve built in flexibility. Multiple time options will be offered for each training day. Simply choose the session that works best for your family. Each session will cover the same curriculum, so players won’t miss key instruction if they need to adjust their schedule.
This is a clinic-style program with a focus on skill development - no games, just quality reps and instruction.
Season Dates:
Sunday, September 6 - October 26
Focus Areas:
Throwing and catching fundamentals
Hitting mechanics and approach
Fielding technique and confidence
Building strong habits and baseball IQ
This program is ideal for young players looking to develop confidence, sharpen fundamentals, and prepare for the next level in a positive, structured environment.
Marin Baseball Academy League (9U–12U)
The Fall Academy League is designed for 9U–12U players ready to take their development into a game environment while continuing to build strong fundamentals.
The season begins with three initial practices to establish team chemistry and reinforce core skills. From there, players transition into a consistent weekly rhythm:
Games on Saturdays
Practices on Sundays (location alternating between indoor training at the Marin Baseball Clubhouse and outdoor field sessions)
Team Structure:
4 teams (combined 9U & 10U players)
4 teams (combined 11U & 12U players)
This format allows players to compete, learn, and grow alongside peers at similar stages of development.
Program Highlights:
Meaningful game reps in a supportive environment
Continued emphasis on fundamentals and baseball IQ
Coaching led by the Marin Baseball coaching staff
A balance of competition, instruction, and fun
The Fall Academy League is the perfect bridge between training and competition, giving players the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned, build confidence in game situations, and continue developing their love for the game.
